This DEI & Sustainability Policy establishes our stance against all forms of discrimination and our commitment to respect, fairness, representation, environmental responsibility, ethical digital practices, and long-term societal impact.

We are committed to ensuring fair treatment, access, and opportunity for all users. This includes equitable:

• 1.Access to platform features and support.
• 2.Visibility in listings and search results (no algorithmic bias).
• 3.Dispute handling and resolution without prejudice.

We strive to ensure that every freelancer, client, and employee feels valued, heard, and safe to express themselves within our community guidelines. Harassment, hate speech, and discriminatory behavior are strictly prohibited.

We are committed to:

• 1.Reducing our digital carbon footprint through efficient hosting, responsible data storage, and low-energy technologies.
• 2.Supporting remote, inclusive, and fair work to reduce unnecessary travel and promote flexible employment.
• 3.Partnering with vendors and service providers who adhere to ethical, environmental, and labor standards.
• 4.Encouraging our freelancers and clients to adopt sustainable work practices, such as paperless contracts, virtual collaboration, and resource optimization.
• 5.Continuously evaluating and improving our operational sustainability, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, and responsible consumption.

We do not tolerate:

• 1.Any discriminatory messages, job posts, project descriptions, or conduct on the platform.
• 2.Harassment or intimidation based on any protected characteristic.
• 3.Exclusionary language or practices in professional engagements.

Any violation of this DEI & Sustainability Policy by a User, Freelancer, Client, Employee, or Partner shall attract appropriate disciplinary or corrective action, which may include warning, temporary suspension, content removal, or permanent termination of access to the Platform, depending on the severity of the violation.

To uphold this commitment, Huzzler will:

• 1.Host data on energy-efficient servers and seek partnerships with green data centers where feasible.
• 2.Use digital-first workflows to eliminate paper waste.
• 3.Encourage sustainable project practices, including remote collaboration tools and cloud storage over physical transfers.
• 4.Provide educational resources to users on eco-conscious freelancing and sustainable digital behavior.
• 5.Regularly monitor and report on sustainability performance indicators.

Beyond environmental responsibility, we aim to foster a sustainable digital workforce:

• 1.Empower freelancers with fair opportunities, regardless of geography or background.
• 2.Ensure accessibility and usability for differently-abled users.
• 3.Support digital literacy and inclusion in underrepresented communities.

• a)With regards to our commitment to sustainability, this Policy will be reviewed annually to ensure alignment with global sustainability goals such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth; SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption; SDG 13 – Climate Action).
• b)To ensure that the platform remains a safe and inclusive space, users are encouraged to lodge a report in the event that they experience or witness discrimination. Users can report it via grievance@huzzler.io.
• c)All reports will be handled confidentially by our DEI & Grievance Committee, with a commitment to respond within 72 hours.
• d)The Company strictly prohibits retaliation or victimisation against any person who, in good faith, reports a concern, complaint, or suspected violation under this Policy or participates in an investigation. Any act of retaliation shall itself be treated as a serious violation of this Policy and may attract disciplinary measures, including suspension or termination.

• 1.Platform Leadership is responsible for integrating DEI values into product design, algorithms, and partnerships.
• 2.Employees and Moderators receive regular sensitivity and anti-bias training.
• 3.Users are expected to engage respectfully and uphold our inclusive culture.
• 4.All users, partners, and employees share responsibility for upholding our sustainability initiatives and ideals.
• 5.Leadership is accountable for ensuring our sustainability values are reflected in decisions, technology, and partnerships.

We will:

• 1.Regularly review this policy to reflect evolving social, environmental and legal standards.
• 2.Collect anonymised demographic data (with consent) to assess equity outcomes.

The DEI parts of this Policy comply with:

• 1.Articles 15 and 16 of the Constitution of India (Equality and Non-Discrimination).
• 2.The Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (safe and respectful online environment).
• 3.The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (fair and lawful data use without bias).
• 4.The POSH Act, 2013, where applicable (prevention of sexual harassment in workplace contexts).
