Every person who joins our platform deserves a space where they can interact without fear of harassment, discrimination, or misuse. By using Zuntra, you agree to uphold these standards and conduct yourself with dignity, honesty, and kindness.
These Guidelines apply to all users, visitors, interactions, messages, and content shared on the platform. They also govern how Zuntra manages safety, moderation, inclusion, reporting, and cooperation with law enforcement. This Policy forms an essential part of our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and other policies.
Zuntra is committed to maintaining a community where everyone feels welcome. We do not tolerate harassment, stalking, threats, intimidation, hate speech, or any form of non-consensual sexual behaviour. Discrimination of any kind is prohibited, including discrimination based on gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, caste, race, ethnicity, colour, nationality, religion, disability, age, health condition, marital status, or family status. Every user on Zuntra is entitled to equal dignity, equal access, and equal respect. Your preferences may shape your matches, but your behaviour must reflect respect for the identities and lived experiences of others. No user should feel pressured, judged, or demeaned while using the platform.
We celebrate diversity, including LGBTQ+ users, and are committed to creating an environment where all identities can be expressed safely. The app provides inclusive gender and orientation options, and our moderation systems actively identify and remove homophobic, transphobic, or discriminatory content. We understand that identity can be deeply personal, and in some regions disclosure may carry safety risks. For this reason, Zuntra offers confidentiality features and ensures that all sensitive identity data such as sexual orientation or gender identity is treated as sensitive personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and global privacy standards. Such data is collected only with explicit consent and is used solely to help you find relevant matches and to enable safety features.
In keeping with our commitment to user safety, certain behaviours are strictly prohibited. These include sharing obscene or pornographic material, sending unwanted sexual messages, threatening or abusive communication, impersonation or the creation of fake profiles, attempting to deceive users through edited or AI-generated images, blackmail or extortion, non-consensual sharing of private images, "outing" someone's identity, or engaging in hate-driven or discriminatory conduct. Content involving minors, as well as attempts to contact users under false pretences, are treated with zero tolerance and may be reported to law enforcement.
If you encounter behaviour that violates these Guidelines, you can report it directly through our in-app tools or by contacting our support team. Reports are reviewed promptly and confidentially. We may warn, suspend, or permanently remove users who engage in harmful behaviour, and we may cooperate with law enforcement when legally required to do so. Our internal safety team handles each case with fairness, discretion, and urgency, particularly in matters involving threats, discrimination, or user safety.
By being part of Zuntra, you help us maintain a space where everyone can connect authentically and safely. We expect all users to honour these Guidelines so that Zuntra remains a respectful, inclusive, and uplifting community for everyone.
We strictly prohibit retaliation or victimisation against any user who reports discrimination in good faith. Any such retaliation will result in disciplinary action, including permanent removal and potential legal referral.

If you experience or witness harassment, discrimination, impersonation, abusive behaviour, hate speech, fraud, or any form of misconduct on the Platform, you may report it using the in-app reporting tools or by email. All reports are treated confidentially and reviewed by our trained Safety & Diversity Team.

If you believe you are in immediate danger, please contact local law enforcement (for example, 100 / 911/ 112 in India). You may also notify us so that we can take appropriate safety action and cooperate with authorities where legally required.
Zuntra complies with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. Accordingly, we follow a structured and legally compliant takedown process.
All reports are acknowledged within 24 hours, as required under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. Our team will then review the report for clarity, urgency, and legal relevance. We aim to complete the initial assessment within 72 hours and conduct a full investigation examining message logs (if legally permissible), device or behavioural patterns, and historical conduct within 5–7 working days.
Once the investigation is completed, appropriate actions will be taken within 10 working days of receiving the report. Actions may include a warning, temporary suspension, permanent account removal, content takedown within the legally mandated timeline (including the 36-hour takedown requirement for unlawful content), or referral to law enforcement in cases involving criminal behaviour, serious threats, sexual exploitation, or child safety concerns. Users who repeatedly or severely violate our Guidelines will be permanently banned.
You will receive a general confirmation (without revealing private information of others) when your complaint has been addressed, typically within 15 working days of submission. Urgent cases such as threats of violence, child safety, sexual exploitation, identity-based targeting, or imminent physical harm are prioritised and acted upon immediately.
In accordance with the DPDP Act, certain personal data processed during a safety investigation such as report logs, communication records, or behavioural flags may be retained for the legally mandated period of 180 days under the IT Rules 2021, even if a user submits a deletion request. This limited retention is necessary to comply with law, prevent repeated violations, and ensure platform security. Sensitive personal data, such as sexual orientation or gender identity, if involved in a report, is handled with heightened protection, minimal access, and strict purpose limitation.
These safety processes operate alongside Zuntra’s obligations as an intermediary under Section 79 of the IT Act, and we may remove or disable access to illegal content in compliance with applicable legal orders or statutory requirements.

The uploading or sharing of content that violates these Terms (“Prohibited Content”) may result in the immediate termination or suspension of your account in accordance with the takedown policy.
1. You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, texts, bios). You are responsible for your content and therefore must not share anything that you wouldn’t want others to see, that would violate these Terms, or that may expose you or us to legal liability.
2. While you will have access to other users’ content, it is not yours and you may not copy or use such content for any purpose except as contemplated by these Terms.
3. Wiviy does not tolerate inappropriate content or behaviour on our Services.
4. By uploading content, you grant Zuntra a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, process, and use such content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, securing, and moderating the Platform. This license automatically ends when you delete your content or your account, except where retention is required by law or for the resolution of disputes.
5. You own all the content you provide to Wiviy, but you also grant us the right to use Your Content as provided in this Agreement. By creating an account, you grant to Wiviy a worldwide, perpetual, transferable, sub- licensable, royalty-free right and license to host, store, use, copy, display, reproduce, adapt, edit, publish, translate, modify, reformat, incorporate into other works, advertise, distribute and otherwise make available to the general public your content, including any information you authorise us to access from Facebook or other third- party sources (if applicable), in whole or in part, and in any way and in any format or medium currently known or developed in the future. Wiviy's license to your content shall be non-exclusive, except that Wiviy's license shall be exclusive with respect to derivative works created through use of our Services. For example, Wiviy would have an exclusive license to screenshots of our Services that include Your Content.
6. In addition, so that Wiviy can prevent the use of your content outside of our Services, you authorise Wiviy to act on your behalf with respect to infringing uses of your content taken from our Services by other users or third parties. This expressly includes the authority, but not the obligation, to send notices on your behalf if your content is taken and used by third parties outside of our Services. Wiviy is not obligated to take any action regarding use of your content by other users or third parties. Wiviy’s license to your content is subject to your rights under applicable law (for example, laws regarding personal data protection to the extent the content contains personal information as defined by those laws).
7. In consideration for Wiviy allowing you to use our Services, you agree that we, our affiliates, and our third-party partners may place advertising on our Services. By submitting suggestions or feedback to Wiviy regarding our Services, you agree that Wiviy may use and share such feedback for any purpose without compensating you.
8. You agree that Wiviy may access, preserve, and disclose your account information, including your content, if required to do so by law or upon a good faith belief that such access, preservation, or disclosure is reasonably necessary to:
(i) comply with legal process;
(ii) enforce these Terms;
(iii) respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third parties;
(iv) respond to your requests for customer service;
(v) protect the rights, property or personal safety of the Company or any other person, or
(vi) to investigate, prevent, or take other action regarding illegal activity, suspected fraud or other wrongdoing.
9. You represent that you own the rights to all content you share and that it does not violate any third-party rights.
Your privacy is important to us. Zuntra collects, processes, stores, safeguards, and transfers personal data strictly in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

Wiviy does not conduct criminal background checks on its users. Though Wiviy strives to encourage a respectful user experience, it is not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the Service. Use your best judgment when interacting with others.
YOU UNDERSTAND THAT Wiviy DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND OR IDENTITY VERIFICATION CHECKS ON ITS USERS OR OTHERWISE INQUIRE INTO THE BACKGROUND OF ITS USERS. Wiviy MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES AS TO THE CONDUCT, IDENTITY, HEALTH, PHYSICAL CONDITION, INTENTIONS, LEGITIMACY, OR VERACITY OF USERS. Wiviy RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CONDUCT - AND YOU AUTHORISE Wiviy TO CONDUCT - ANY CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK OR OTHER SCREENINGS (SUCH AS SEX OFFENDER REGISTER SEARCHES) AT ANY TIME USING AVAILABLE PUBLIC RECORDS, AND YOU AGREE THAT ANY INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE MAY BE USED FOR THAT PURPOSE. IF THE COMPANY DECIDES TO CONDUCT ANY SCREENING THROUGH A CONSUMER REPORTING AGENCY, YOU HEREBY AUTHORISE THE COMPANY TO OBTAIN AND USE A CONSUMER REPORT ABOUT YOU TO DETERMINE YOUR ELIGIBILITY UNDER THESE TERMS.
YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS. WE CANNOT AND DO NOT GUARANTEE YOUR SAFETY. ALWAYS USE YOUR BEST JUDGMENT AND TAKE APPROPRIATE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WHEN COMMUNICATING WITH OR MEETING NEW PEOPLE. COMMUNICATIONS RECEIVED THROUGH THE SERVICE, INCLUDING AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATIONS SENT BY Wiviy, MAY RESULT FROM USERS ENGAGING WITH THE SERVICE FOR IMPROPER PURPOSES, INCLUDING FRAUD, ABUSE, HARASSMENT, OR OTHER SUCH IMPROPER BEHAVIOR.
Though Wiviy strives to encourage a respectful user experience, it is not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the Service. You agree to use caution in all interactions with other users, particularly if you decide to communicate off the Service or meet in person.
Wiviy acts as a digital intermediary providing a platform for social connection. We do not verify every user's identity beyond reasonable checks and cannot control user behavior outside the App.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL Wiviy, ITS AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES, LICENSORS, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, FIXED, OR ENHANCED DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM: (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES, (II) THE CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY USERS OR THIRD PARTIES ON OR THROUGH ANY OF OUR AFFILIATES’ SERVICES OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICES; OR (III) ANY UNAUTHORISED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR CONTENT, EVEN IF Wiviy HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL Wiviy'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) INR 100 OR (B) THE AMOUNT PAID, IF ANY, BY YOU TO Wiviy FOR THE SERVICES DURING THE TWENTY-FOUR (24) MONTH PERIOD IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE DATE THAT YOU FIRST FILE A LAWSUIT, ARBITRATION OR ANY OTHER LEGAL PROCEEDING AGAINST Wiviy, WHETHER STATUTORY, IN LAW OR IN EQUITY, IN ANY TRIBUNAL. THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY PROVISIONS SET FORTH IN THIS SECTION SHALL APPLY EVEN IF YOUR REMEDIES UNDER THIS AGREEMENT FAIL WITH RESPECT TO THEIR ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO SOME OR ALL OF THE LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
To the full extent permitted under Indian laws, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Wiviy, its officers, directors and employees from and against all liabilities, demands, claims, damages, complaints, losses, costs, and expenses, including attorney's fees, due to, arising out of, or relating in any way to your access to or use of the services, your content, or your breach of this agreement.
Wiviy does not represent or warrant that (a) any matches or profiles presented will be compatible and/or guarantee success in finding a partner, or that (b) the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error free, (c) any defects or errors in the service will be corrected, (d) that any content or information you obtain on or through the service will be accurate, or (e) any suggestions or feedback will be incorporated.
Wiviy takes no responsibility for any content that you or another user or third party posts, sends or receives through the service. Any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the service is accessed at your own discretion and risk.
We do not verify the accuracy of user profiles, bios, photos, or statements. We are not responsible for any offline meetings, misrepresentations, harassment, fraud, impersonation, emotional distress, or harm arising from interactions between users. Wiviy shall not be liable for personal injury, data misuse, financial loss, unlawful conduct, or any damages resulting from your use of the platform.
Zuntra is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, compatibility results, or the accuracy of algorithmic or AI-based recommendations. Any match suggestions or compatibility indicators are informational only and should not be interpreted as professional guidance or as assurances of relationship outcomes.
Wiviy disclaims and takes no responsibility for any conduct of you or any other user, on or off the service.
This Policy explains how intellectual property ("IP") is owned, used, and licensed on Zuntra, including user-generated content (UGC), platform-owned materials, and AI-generated outputs.
All platform IP including software, code, design, trademarks, logos, databases, algorithms, analytics models, and UX elements belongs exclusively to Zuntra.
Users receive no rights to copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or commercially exploit any platform IP unless expressly permitted.

Zuntra is an India-based platform and is primarily governed by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. However, we recognise that our users may access the platform from different parts of the world, and we therefore align our privacy and data-handling practices with the principles of major global regulations. While Zuntra does not target users under the age of 18, we remain mindful of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States and do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. Any account found to belong to an underage user will be terminated and removed without delay, and legitimate parental or regulatory deletion requests will be honoured.
For users located in the European Union, we follow the core principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including lawful and transparent processing, data minimisation, purpose limitation, and respect for user rights. Personal data is processed based on explicit consent, legitimate interest for safety and fraud prevention, and other lawful bases where applicable. Cross-border transfers take place only with adequate safeguards. Similar standards apply for users in the United Kingdom under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, and a designated UK contact point is available for rights requests and regulatory queries.
For users in Canada, we observe the spirit of PIPEDA by obtaining meaningful consent, limiting use and retention to stated purposes, safeguarding sensitive information, and honouring verified access, correction, and deletion requests.
For users in Singapore, we follow the consent-based principles and transfer-limitation obligations under the PDPA. Users may withdraw consent at any time, and our Singapore DPO may be contacted for assistance.
Australian users are protected under the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and data transfers outside Australia occur only with appropriate assurances under APP 8. Users may escalate unresolved privacy concerns to the OAIC.
Across all jurisdictions, Zuntra applies a consistent global standard for security, privacy, and data transfer. International transfers are made only with appropriate contractual or regulatory safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms. Sensitive personal information such as sexual orientation, gender identity, or verification data is encrypted, access-restricted, and handled with heightened protection. Users everywhere retain the right to access, correct, delete, or port their data, as well as to withdraw consent or object to certain processing activities, subject to legal retention obligations and safety investigations.
Personal data is kept only for as long as necessary for matchmaking, safety, fraud prevention, and compliance with applicable law. Upon account deletion, data is removed or anonymised within a reasonable period, typically within 90 days, except where laws require limited retention such as for safety logs, grievance records, or system backups.
International users may contact the appropriate regional privacy representative listed in our Privacy Policy for jurisdiction-specific questions or rights exercises. These International Compliance Notes may be updated periodically to reflect evolving laws, regulatory guidance, or platform practices, and continued use of Zuntra after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised standards.
In accordance with Rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the details of our Grievance Officer are as follows:

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu.
